Pond Safari - 2nd November 2008
Notes:
We have a pond safari planned for Sunday the 2nd of November 2008 in the Table View area. The pond safari is open to the public and anyone that might be remotely interested in koi may attend.
We will kick off at the house of Paul Viljoen (Koi Online) at 10:00, I hear that he has 17 koi ponds.
3 Darter Street, Table View - Please see the attached map.
We will leave from Paul and travel in a convoy to the following ponds.

Pond Safari - 4th October 2008
Notes:
The pond safari is in the northern suburbs of the cape for the 4th of October 2008, please note that it falls on a Saturday. The pond safari is open to the public and anyone that might be remotely interested in koi may attend. There is no cost involved, lets just have fun.
We will kick the pond safari off at the pond of Eugen Binedell at 09:30
121 Frankfort Road, Parow, Western Cape.
Then we will move to the pond of Prof. Bennie Zeeman and we aim to be at his house at 10:30.
43 Broadway street, Vredelust, Bellville. Entrance is in Jooste street.
We will end our pond safari off at the house of Rassie Erasmus at 11:30
6 Jakaranda road, Welmarie park, Durbanville.

Koi Health Seminar - 24th February 2008
Notes:
We will be having our seminar at the house of John Melish in somerset west. John ownes a 200 000L Koi pond with +- 150 Koi in it. At this seminar we will be discussing koi health and water quality.
1. This is a open (free) koi seminar and is open to the public, everyone is welcome. (Bring friends and family)
2. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
3. Please RSVP - contact us to let us know that you are coming and how many of you there are.

5. We will have projectors on site during this seminar so it will not only people talking.
6. Please bring your microscope along for the practical.
I need to point out that people that do not RSVP for this event will NOT be catered for.

Seminar - 27th January 2008 (Postponed to end of Feb)
Notes:
Due to unexpected problems we had to move the venue and postpone this event to the end of February.
We had a venue arranged at Fairview wine farm for Sunday the 27th but were notified on the 18th that they could no longer accommodate us. The short notice made it impossible to rearrange for the same date.

The pond safari will be conducted in the Paarl area.

Maps to destinations will be handed out at the start location to all participants that RSVP.

Please be at the start location at 08:45 am as we leave the start location at 09:00 am.

15 % Discounts on purchases from affiliated Koi dealers on all cash, electronic transfer and debit card purchases exceeding R 100. Credit card purchases exceeding R 100 will receive between 5% and 10% discount.

Please keep your hands and the hands of your children out of the water at the different locations. Koi are very beautiful to look at but very expensive to replace.
